On November 13th, Catholics across the U.S. are invited to join in a national day of public witness for our immigrant brothers and sisters as a part of the One Church One Family initiative. Join parishes from both the Kansas City-St. Joseph diocese and the Kansas City Kansas archdiocese in praying a rosary for our immigrant community, calling for an end to the inhumane deportations of migrants and refugees. Coalition Life is hosting a new 9-day vigil in front of Planned Parenthood - Patty Brous Health Center. The Coalition Life Circle will be from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. November 13-21 in front of 1001 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd, Suite 6, Kansas City, MO 64110. This is an opportunity to pray for life, witness, and evangelize by your presence. We are looking for local churches to sponsor one day of the Circle and commit to covering each of the 4 shifts that day. Please let us know if your church would like to sponsor one day. Feel free to pass this email along to anyone who you think might be interested in participating whether as an individual or church group. The Life & Justice Grant, funded by the Life & Justice Campaign, awards and funds new projects and/or programs which directly address injustice toward the dignity of the person or sanctity of human life. If an organization you are a part of or an organization you know match these criteria, please visit lifeandjusticekcsj.org to apply for the Life & Justice Grant by December 31, 2025. There you will find more detailed criteria and the application form and process.
