What to Expect
-
Curtis Wichmer of the Missouri Catholic Conference (MCC) will be speaking on bills which the MCC is following for their impact and what the position of the MCC is on those bills.
-
Curtis will then share best practices and templates for how to write to representatives about bills and topics which stand out to you. Later in the event, you will have the opportunity to write your own letter and receive feedback on formatting.
-
This is a catered lunch event, please register so that we can know how many to expect for the meal.
-
Our focus is on policies and practices and not on parties or politicians.
-
This event is perfect for:
-
those concerned about particular topics and pieces of legislation
-
those who have never written or contacted a representative before and don't know where to begin
-
students who are not of voting age yet but still want to make a difference.
